WEIHENSTEPHAN RESEARCH BREWERY
In comparison to craft brewing, NOAM was developed at the epicentre of brewing science.
The Technical University of Munich operates the School of Life Sciences in Weihenstephan.
Under the motto "One Health", research is conducted on everything from molecules and plants to ecosystems and landscapes.
The internationally renowned Chair of Brewing and Beverage Technology is also part of the School of Life Sciences. Students and beverage producers from all over the world learn and conduct research at the Weihenstephan Research Brewery. It is considered to be the oldest academic training centre for brewing and one of the most modern research breweries in the world.
The unique recipe for NOAM was also developed here. The fine taste was developed in collaboration with the directors of the Weihenstephan research brewery, Dr Florian Schüll, Dr Johannes Tippmann and master brewer Michael Ammer.
NOAM combines the synergies of innovative strength, cutting-edge technology and research from what is probably the best facility for brewery research. We are proud to be able to share this Bavarian high-tech brewing tradition with the world.
